This former AEW star is drawing attention to an old gimmick after TNA appearance.
TNA Genesis took place this past weekend. The opening match on the pre-show saw NXT’s Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defend his International Championship in a four-way match against Eric Young, BDE, and KJ Orso.
The closing sequence saw Eric Young spike Orso with a piledriver before Stacks shoved Young out of the ring and pinned Orso to retain the title. Stacks also appeared in a pre-taped promo alongside Arianna Grace to deliver a message to Santino Marella.
As for Orso, All Elite Wrestling fans might remember him as Fuego Del Sol. His TV career in Tony Khan’s promotion began when he was offered a contract by Sammy Guevara following a loss to Miro on Rampage.
KJ Orso dropped the Fuego Del Sol gimmick after losing a mask vs. career match against Atticus Cogar at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9. He recently took to social media to repost an old video pertaining to his unmasking.
“After my TNA appearance this past weekend, I realized that they are some people that were unaware of the unmasking… Bumping this again to let em know, and introduce them to the Silver-Tongued Savant that KJ Orso is!”
