The Rock Comments on Ongoing WWE WrestleMania 43 Negotiations

The Rock shared his thoughts on WWE’s talks about hosting WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia and his possible involvement.

WWE WrestleMania 43 is currently planned to take place in Saudi Arabia in 2027. Last year, WWE announced the plans during a special event in Las Vegas. The event featured Triple H, Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh, and WWE stars such as Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan, and more.

Reports have stated that WWE wants WrestleMania 43 to be one of the most star-studded events ever. The company hopes to feature legendary names like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Recent reports also revealed that there have been discussions of a “big offer” with The Rock for WrestleMania 43, though there is some hesitation, since it could potentially be his final match.

During an interview with Raffi Boghosian, The Rock was asked about WWE WrestleMania 43 being held in Saudi Arabia and the ongoing negotiations. He said, “Well, I can tell you that I’m excited for the brand of WrestleMania. I’m excited for the Kingdom because that is a big show. And I’m also excited not only for the brand, but I’m excited for our athletes to be able to participate in an event like that and that is a global event and so I can’t wait.”

While The Rock did not confirm whether he will compete at WrestleMania 43, he added, “In terms of the conversations. Well, it’s all good. It will always be good. That’s amazing. Thank you so much. Thanks for having me. Thank you, brother.”
