It seems Kit Wilson’s WWE theme song has struck a chord backstage, not just with fans online.
The internet continues to buzz about Kit Wilson, as the Pretty Deadly standout recently debuted a new entrance theme. Wilson unveiled the music on SmackDown, where he also went one-on-one with a returning Matt Cardona at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
Wilson’s theme has quickly gained popularity within the WWE locker room. NXT Women’s North American Champion Izzi Dame shared a TikTok video featuring herself and several fellow Superstars dancing along to the track.
“Us everyday since Kits new song dropped,” she wrote.
Wilson has been competing as a singles star in recent months after his tag team partner, Elton Prince, was sidelined with a neck injury suffered during a SmackDown match. Prince later revealed that he underwent neck fusion surgery and expressed his excitement and support for Wilson’s ongoing run.
Wilson responded with an emotional message, explaining that the injury occurred during one of their matches and reflecting on the bond he shares with Prince, whom he described as his closest friend in the business.
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Wilson attacked Matt Cardona following Cardona’s loss to Trick Williams in the quarterfinals of the Undisputed WWE Championship number one contender’s tournament. Wilson was later assaulted by Jacob Fatu, leading to a pull-apart brawl involving Cody Rhodes.
WrestleZone provides coverage of WWE SmackDown every Friday.
