Maybe this is the reason Chris Jericho has considered leaving AEW for WWE.
Chris Jericho may have gone AWOL from All Elite Wrestling, but that doesn’t mean he has disappeared from social media. He has not been seen on AEW programming since losing a title vs. mask match to Bandido at Dynasty 2025.
However, an old clip featuring Jericho recently resurfaced online. The video shows Jericho getting into a confrontation with a young fan at ringside, who flips him off, prompting a humorous reaction from the former AEW World Champion.
The footage is from an unaired segment taped at AEW Slam Dunk Sunday in Omaha (Ralston), Nebraska, ahead of Jericho’s most recent appearance at Dynasty in April 2025. Jericho gets into a verbal battle who flips him the middle finger and screams “f*ck you” at him. Jericho played along, and the kid continued to mock his physique and called him old.

Is Chris Jericho going back to WWE?
WWE is set to be in Canada later this week for SmackDown and Saturday Night’s Main Event. Since Jericho is a native of the Great White North, fans have begun speculating about whether the veteran wrestler could make a return to his former promotion.
According to a report, Chris Jericho is advertised to perform this Friday evening at a free concert as part of this year’s National Association of Music Merchants gathering. This event takes place in Los Angeles.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has been told Jericho is expected to remain at the event for the weekend. Unless something radical changes, Jericho won’t be on SmackDown or Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal. It’s worth noting that Jericho remains on the official AEW roster page.
