Becky Lynch recognizes greatness.
During a recent interview with Billboard, WWE Superstar Becky Lynch was asked to name a wrestler from another promotion she’d like to face.
The Man quickly named Toni Storm, praising the former multi-time AEW Women’s World Champion for her character work.
Lynch also took the opportunity to fantasy book herself in a match against Storm.
“Well, I’d probably wrestle Toni Storm. I always wanted to wrestle her. I was bummed when she left and she’s doing amazing work over there at [AEW]. It’s absolutely amazing. Let’s make it a Dublin Street Fight. I do love a good street fight or maybe a Hell in a Cell. Yeah, let’s make it a Hell in a Cell,” Lynch said.
Becky Lynch made a huge revelation on WWE Unreal: Season 2
Becky Lynch opened up about her in-ring future in the first episode of WWE Unreal: Season 2. She explained that before her contract expired in mid-2024, she personally asked for time off because she felt completely burned out.
In 2024, Lynch spoke with Triple H about the situation, telling him her contract had ended and that she needed a break. The boss understood, and they agreed to revisit her WWE return once a new deal was in place.
After spending nearly a year away from the ring, Lynch eventually signed a new WWE contract ahead of her return at WrestleMania 41. She revealed she is now working under what she described as her final contract with the company, sparking speculation about a future where The Man may no longer be an active in-ring competitor.
