A new clip teases AJ Styles’ WWE Royal Rumble entrance.
AJ Styles will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Saturday for what could potentially mark his WWE in-ring retirement. Styles has agreed to put his legendary career on the line against a man with a notorious reputation for ending careers, Gunther.
At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Styles squared off against longtime rival and friend Shinsuke Nakamura. The King of Strong Style seemingly spoiled the retirement plans of the former Bullet Club member in a since-deleted social media post.
Styles apparently had his farewell performance on RAW in a world title main event against CM Punk. The match was cut short, however, due to a run-in from Finn Bálor after General Manager Adam Pearce informed him that the Royal Rumble lineup was already complete.

A new clip shared by WWE KSA Updates on X teases AJ Styles’ Royal Rumble entrance. The fan account posted a bird’s-eye view of the Rumble setup, with Styles’ theme song playing in the background.
“An overhead look at the Royal Rumble arena during AJ Styles’ entrance music test! The stage is set, the lights are ready, and the countdown to chaos has begun!”
Styles previously confirmed his plans to retire in 2026. Fans will have to tune in to WrestleZone’s live coverage of the Royal Rumble this Saturday to find out whether the premium live event will mark the swan song for the former WWE Champion.
