Trish Stratus Reacts To Being WWE Fans’ First Crush

Trish Stratus is a generational talent in more ways than one.

Stratus spoke about her status as a sex symbol during her appearance on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon. Stratus noted how she wore a shirt that said, ‘Your First Crush’ during her most recent run in WWE in 2025. The seven-time WWE Women’s Champion said it turned into a running gimmick, and she doesn’t mind fans being infatuated with her, either.

“I wore this shirt when I came back recently, it [said] ‘‘Your First Crush.’ And everyone was like, ‘Yes.’ So now, everything I sign, [fans request] ‘Can you just write ‘My first crush…’ It’s a thing,” Trish said. “I don’t mind being people’s first crush, current crush, whatever.”

Trish then joked about how she’ll give some people a hard time about it, but it’s cool seeing how she became a crush for a whole new generation of WWE fans.

“Some of them are like, ‘You used to be my first crush,’ and I’m like, ‘Used to?’” Stratus joked. “The cool thing is like the dad and the kid, I’m like a generational crush.”

Trish Stratus last competed at Evolution 2, where she challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Championship. Stratus wasn’t even sure she would compete at the event, telling Bill Apter that her mother’s battle with cancer weighed heavily on her decision. Trish’s mother ultimately pushed her to do the event, which was her daughter’s last match before passing away in August 2025.

Since then, Trish has continued to stay in the spotlight, with fans hoping she returns to the ring again. The WWE Hall of Famer also recently said she checked a big item off her bucket list of career goals.
