Jesse Ventura Has Extreme Idea That Might Make Donald Trump Happy

Jesse Ventura has a unique idea for Minnesota that he believes will please President Donald Trump.

WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura was a recent guest on the SpinSisters Podcast. Being the former Governor of Minnesota, Ventura shared his thoughts about the current political climate, the government’s use of force against citizens, and the recent ICE protests in the state.

Jesse Ventura blamed President Donald Trump for the current crisis. He noted that since Trump dislikes Minnesota, the state should secede from the USA and become part of Canada, instead of the latter becoming a state, as Trump had suggested.

“I am one that thinks, let me throw this out on your show and we’ll get some headlines. How about since Trump dislikes Minnesota so bad, and we’re so out of control, let’s join Canada?” Jesse Ventura asked. “Instead of Canada becoming the 51st state of America and lose their healthcare, like they said, they would never do that because they’d lose their healthcare. I’d like to see Minnesota, all of us become Canadians, and make this part of Canada, because it’s obvious Donald Trump don’t want us.

“It’s obvious that he’s ready to fracture the whole country for his folly, whatever he is doing. Well, I think we should petition to get out of the United States. And if they don’t want us, I’m sure Canada would be happy to take us. And then all those Iowans, think of what a mess it’ll be when they have to cross an international border to come up here fishing?” Jesse Ventura said.
