Toni Storm is determined to make sure she doesn’t get her head shaved.
AEW Grand Slam: Australia will feature a mixed tornado tag team match pitting Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy against Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir. The match also carries a big stipulation, as it will be a hair versus hair match.
Storm issued the challenge on the January 31 episode of AEW Collision: whoever gets pinned, gets their hair shaved. While she was confident on Collision, Storm and Orange seemed a bit worried about what they talked themselves into.
After they defeated Jordan Oasis and Brittnie Brooks, Orange and Storm cut a promo about the match at Grand Slam: Australia.
Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy are having second thoughts
“I don’t know if this is a good idea,” Orange Cassidy said. “I like my hair.”
“Why did I make this match? My hair is my livelihood,” Toni Storm replied. “And without it, I’m going to look like a boiled egg. I’m going to look like an angry penis!
“I can’t be bald. I’d look hideous, I’ll look grotesque, I’ll look disgusting,” Storm continued, as she hilariously looked over at Luther the Butler.
Luther covered Toni up with her robe, then she shot to her feet and pumped herself up and said it’s not going to go down like that.
“At Gland Slam Australia, one of two things will happen: [Orange Cassidy is] going to give Wheeler Yuta a cute little combover, or I will make Marina look like Mox!”
AEW Grand Slam: Australia takes place on February 14 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.
