Stephen Amell has hinted that he may appear at WrestleMania 42, teasing a cameo on Night Two of WWE’s biggest event of the year.
The actor made the comment during a Feb. 10, 2026, interview with iHeartRadio Canada as WWE continues its road to Las Vegas.
Amell was asked whether he has been keeping up with wrestling. He made it clear where his focus lies. “I’m not up to date with AEW. I’m certainly up to date with WWE,” Amell said before adding, “We are on the road to WrestleMania. I think I’m going to make a cameo on night two at WrestleMania this year.”
Stephen Amell Teases WrestleMania 42 Night Two Appearance
While Amell did not provide specifics about what the cameo might involve, this marks the first time he has directly connected himself to WrestleMania 42.
The event is set for April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship is the only match currently confirmed.
Amell has previous in-ring experience with WWE. He competed at SummerSlam 2015, teaming with Neville against Cody Rhodes, donning the Stardust moniker and King Barrett. His involvement stemmed from his friendship with Cody Rhodes, a relationship that extended beyond the ring and into television appearances.
In 2025, Amell stated at a Comic-Con event that he had no desire to wrestle regularly again, noting the physical toll of the business.
He joked that stepping into the ring “once every 10 years” was enough. That makes this potential appearance feel more like a spotlight cameo than a full-blown comeback — more run-in than run back.
WrestleMania season often brings surprises, and Amell’s tease adds another layer of intrigue. Whether he appears in the ring or in a segment, Night Two in Las Vegas could feature a familiar face under the bright lights.
