Matt Hardy believes WWE should feature Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42 even if he is not medically cleared to wrestle.
Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Hardy addressed the uncertainty surrounding the WrestleMania 42 card after reports surfaced about Bron Breakker undergoing hernia surgery. Fans have started to question what WWE will do with Rollins if their rumored match cannot happen following Breakker’s status have remain in the air.
“It’s wild,” Hardy said. “Seth was on such a good role when all that stuff happened. Bron Breakker was starting to get on a roll, too. And it’s made everything so wonky in their continuity of the story, which is unfortunate.”
Hardy added that depending on the seriousness of Breakker’s injury, WWE could even use the situation as part of the storyline. “If it wasn’t a terrible hernia situation, I mean, I might could even see them using this to kind of play it up a little bit like maybe he’s not going to be there, but then maybe he is still there.”

No matter what happens with Breakker, Hardy made it clear that Rollins needs to be part of WrestleMania 42. “I think I would have Seth there in some capacity, because he’s just such a big star, and I think you want to make that event as star-studded as possible.”
“I mean, I would imagine now too, you would agree, whenever he got taken out of the Royal Rumble, they would put all that heat on Seth, right? That. Would be Seth, supposedly, is how they would book that long term.”
He continued, “I should have spoke more specifically, just because I would just have Seth appear in some capacity, even if it’s not to wrestle, you know what I mean, I would have him there to do some sort of angle or story. It was confirmed last week on WWE RAW that Breakker is currently off the road, and his return timeline remains uncertain. As a result, the rumored Rollins vs. Breakker match for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas is now in doubt.
