Britt Baker Is No Longer A Full-Time Dentist Due To Death Threats From Wrestling Fans

All Elite Wrestling star Britt Baker hasn’t been active for some time. Despite the thoughts that she may be retired, she’s assured fans otherwise.

Speaking to Adam Glyn during a recent red carpet appearance at a Sports Illustrated, Baker was asked how she’s doing and whether she’s good enough to get back into the ring at this point. Baker said that she “would not say” that she’s retired, and thanked fans for staying passionate.

“I just love that the fans are still talking about me. So keep the chatter up, ’cause I love it and just stay tuned,” said Baker.

Baker also said she’s not a full-time dentist anymore, explaining that some safety issues at her practice caused her to scale back a bit.

“Not full-time anymore,” Baker said. “As much as I love wrestling fans, they can be a little too passionate, sometimes for their own good and for my own safety. It got a little carried away sometimes with some scary wrestling fans wanting to come kill me because I’m a bad guy.”

Baker has not been seen on AEW television since November 2024. She is still reportedly under contract with AEW for at least another year. The former AEW Women’s World Champion has been the subject of rumors in recent months, with one story claiming that she was actively trying to leave the company.

Last summer, Khan said that he’s never had a conversation with Baker about leaving the company. He remained optimistic about getting her back in AEW. Fans had expected Baker back at various points throughout the year, but to date, she’s still yet to appear. Baker’s online presence also hasn’t been extremely active. However, she continues to send encouraging messages to her fans on social media.
