WWE just confirmed fans’ worst fears about Bronson Reed’s status on Monday night.
Bronson Reed competed in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. Reed was rumored to be the winner of the match, but an audible was called due to an apparent injury.
After breaking up a pin, Reed was seen grabbing his arm. On the replay, it looked like he may have hurt his bicep. Reed rolled right out of the ring and stayed on the floor for the rest of the match. The commentary team didn’t immediately explain what happened. However, it was pretty clear that something wasn’t right with Reed.

Later in the show, Michael Cole announced that Reed had in fact injured his right arm. According to Cole, Bronson Reed suffered a distal biceps tear. He said Reed would be out indefinitely, but did not offer any more details about the situation.
A distal bicep tear is an injury where the tendon connecting the biceps muscle to the forearm tears, causing symptoms such as swelling and bruising. Surgery is typical for athletes, while recovery could take anywhere from 3 to 6 months.
Jey Uso went on to win the Elimination Chamber qualifying match by hitting El Grande Americano with a superkick and the Uso Splash. The men’s Elimination Chamber match will now feature: Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams and Jey Uso
