WWE‘s Pat McAfee made sure Team USA’s gold medal celebration was extra special by paying their massive bar tab.
After their thrilling 2-1 victory against Canada to win the gold medal at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the United States men’s hockey team had a wild celebration at the E11EVEN nightclub in Miami on Monday night. According to BroBible, the team racked up a $150,000 bar tab, enjoying E11EVEN Vodka, Armand de Brignac Gold, Bel Aire Gold, Don Julio 1942, Dame Mas Tequila, and Happy Dad.
Team USA had sprayed most of the drinks into the crowd and poured them into fans’ mouths. During the celebration, WWE’s Pat McAfee sent a message to the team, informing them that their bar tab for the night was on him.
“Boys, thank you for representing the United States of America in such a great way. It was an honor to watch you win. Enjoy the hell aht of all of it. Tonight, all of your drinks are on me,” Pat McAfee’s message read.
A day after the celebration, Team USA arrived in Washington, DC, following President Donald Trump‘s invitation, and visited him in the Oval Office.
Pat McAfee is reportedly expected to return to WWE soon
After going on a hiatus in June 2025, citing exhaustion from juggling his WWE and ESPN duties, Pat McAfee made a one-off return at Wrestlepalooza in September 2025. He hasn’t returned to WWE television since.
Now, according to WrestleVotes Radio (via Fightful Select), Pat McAfee is expected to return to WWE television soon. However, his exact schedule is unknown. He recently landed a multi-episode arc in the upcoming fourth season of Paramount’s Tulsa King, and also has a role in the Netflix sports drama film, The Mosquito Bowl.
TKO Executive Chairman and elite talent agent Ari Emanuel has added Pat McAfee to his client list and started booking him into films and TV roles. It will be interesting to see how soon McAfee’s WWE return might take place now that he’s branching into Hollywood.
