Bayley has accomplished nearly everything in WWE, yet the multi-time Women’s Champion admits she sometimes struggles to feel purposeful in her role.
Speaking with No-Contest Wrestling during WWE 2K26 Creator Fest, Bayley reflected on her 13-year run with the company and shared surprisingly candid thoughts about her current mindset. Despite her resume, she revealed that creative limitations can leave her feeling sidelined.
“I’ve been in WWE for 13 years now and I’ve done so much, but I feel like I still have so much more to do,” Bayley said. “I don’t write the shows. I don’t put myself in these matches. Sometimes it’s hard to feel purposeful… I kind of feel like I’m just here stealing money.”
Bayley Finds Purpose Through Lodestone Wrestling Seminar
That sense of restlessness helped inspire Lodestone, her all-female wrestling seminar held in Orlando in December 2025.
Bayley covered expenses for attendees aside from travel, aiming to support independent wrestlers who often fund their own journeys. WWE names, including John Cena, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Natalya, and Lyra Valkyria, stopped by during the weekend.
Bayley described the experience as reigniting her “child-like wonder” for wrestling. She emphasized building a supportive community, noting that the 23 participants remain connected through a group chat, sharing matches and feedback.
On-screen, Bayley currently teams with Lyra Valkyria but lacks a defined direction for WrestleMania 42. She recently failed to qualify for the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber after losing a Triple Threat match to Asuka and Natalya on the February 16 episode of Raw.
While her in-ring future remains uncertain, Bayley hinted that a behind-the-scenes role could interest her one day. For now, she may feel like she’s “stealing money,” but her passion suggests she’s far from clocking out.
