Trish Stratus Teases ‘Finale’ To Her WWE Career — Interview

Trish Stratus is all about closure.

Stratus recently announced her “First Crush” tour, which plays off the shirt she wore on a July 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown, and her role in WWE fans’ lives. Stratus was asked about her first and current wrestling crushes, teasing that Tiffany Stratton, with whom she spent time at WWE 2K26 Creator Fest at WWE Headquarters, was her current crush. As far as a past one, Stratus says she was really just enamored with the business itself.

“Oh gosh! I don’t have any crushes. One of my crushes is Tiffy. Is that okay? Can I say that? Back in the day, I didn’t really have a wrestling crush,” Stratus told WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. “I was in love with the business itself, I just was in awe of everything from the first time I met Undertaker to Stone Cold Steve Austin. I met Owen Hart at this one event, all of them at once, and as a kid, it was an amazing thing.”

Trish Stratus wants to put a bow on Stratusfaction in WWE

Last year, Trish Stratus celebrated her 25th anniversary in the wrestling business, which was capped off by a match against Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. Stratus has wrestled sporadically in recent years and previously highlighted why the anniversary tour was so important during her mother’s battle with cancer.

Trish Stratus isn’t a full-time wrestler anymore. She also never properly retired or had a farewell tour, either. Stratus teased that she might come back for a final sendoff, adding that she and the WWE Universe would benefit from a little closure on things.

“The 25th anniversary year was a special year. [WWE and I] worked together to see how we can celebrate it,” Stratus explained. “It turned out really good with the homecoming moment, where I could team up with Tiffy. Being part of Evolution, all women’s pay-per-view, obviously, was amazing. Coming back to the Royal Rumble as 25. So, we kind of like plotted it out.

“My mom got sick last year, and she passed. So there were plans [for more],” Stratus continued. “So, I do think there should be a bit of a finale moment. I’m very much about closure. So I feel like that I would need a little bit of closure. And I think maybe you guys need some closure on your Stratusfaction as well. Maybe.”
