Could Oba Femi be the final boss to Brock Lesnar?
During a recent interview with TV Insider’s Scott Fishman, WWE Superstar Oba Femi was asked about comparisons to Brock Lesnar.
The former multi-time WWE NXT Champion praised Lesnar’s separate runs with the company before responding to fan speculation about a possible singles match with The Beast.
“What a run for him. He had two separate runs, and they’ve both been fantastic. It would be really cool to face him. I know the fans have been asking for that match. It’s going to happen one day soon. What a run he has had the UFC champion, multiple time WWE champion, Royal Rumble winner, dominance. What a way to cap it off by facing ‘The Ruler,'” Oba Femi said.
Femi’s wording is worth noting since he didn’t sound speculative but rather confident regarding a potential singles match with Brock Lesnar. The Beast has laid down an open challenge on the Road to WrestleMania, which has not been answered at the time of writing.
Despite fans wanting to see Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42, WWE reportedly has not finalized the bout. That being said, Femi has publicly expressed his interest in facing Lesnar in one-on-one action.
“Listen, whenever Brock is ready for the challenge, he knows where to find me. I’m on the roster, he’s still an active member of the roster, and he knows where to find me. Let’s make it happen,” Femi said.
Whether Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi happens at WWE WrestleMania 42 remains to be seen. For now, fans can only fantasy book the matchup or play it out in WWE 2K26. Lesnar might be on borrowed time, as John Cena recently teased that Lesnar might be retiring in the near future.
