Top-Selling WWE Star Tosses Free T-Shirts to Fans on RAW

A lighthearted moment unfolded before the March 9 episode of WWE RAW in Seattle when one of the company’s newest arrivals decided to turn a routine merchandise stop into an in-ring-adjacent spectacle.

The segment came as WWE continues to lean into the buzz surrounding the recently debuted Danhausen, whose unusual mix of comedy and curses has quickly made him one of the most talked-about personalities on the roster.

This time, however, the focus wasn’t on a curse placed backstage or an opponent in the ring — it was on the fans themselves.

Danhausen Hands Out Free Merchandise to Fans During WWE RAW Segment

During the broadcast, Danhausen appeared in the ring and began handing out his own T-shirts to fans in attendance by throwing them in the crowd. The impromptu giveaway drew reactions from the crowd as he interacted with what he often calls his “fanhausens.”

True to character, Danhausen turned the giveaway into a joke-filled sales pitch. After tossing several shirts into the crowd, he told those who missed out that they could simply buy one on the WWE Shop.

He also added a warning in classic fashion — anyone who chooses not to buy one might just find themselves cursed.

The moment added another chapter to Danhausen’s unusual start in WWE. Since debuting at Elimination Chamber on February 28, he has already appeared in several memorable segments across RAW and SmackDown.

Just one week earlier on RAW, Danhausen famously placed a curse on Dominik Mysterio during a backstage interaction. Later that same night, Dominik lost the Intercontinental Championship to Penta, a coincidence that some members of The Judgment Day blamed on the so-called curse.

In the recent Episode, El Grande Americano became Danhausen’s latest victim.

Beyond the on-screen antics, the numbers suggest Danhausen’s popularity is translating into real business. Reports indicate his T-shirt quickly became the top-selling item on WWEShop, surpassing merchandise from established stars such as John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Penta.

In other words, Danhausen may be “very nice, very evil” — but from WWE’s perspective, he’s also very good for business.
