WWE WrestleMania 42 promotion has reportedly frustrated some people internally.
Wrestlevotes Radio is reporting via Fightful Select that the promotional efforts for WrestleMania 42 have become a source of frustration within a WWE department.
“One source told Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select that the direction for the event has never been clear, and that those in charge have continued to change their graphic requests along the way,” the report noted.
“The original plan was to promote WrestleMania around a ‘high end, classy vibe’ as seen in the original WrestleMania teasers. Since then, the direction has changed a number of times,” the report further stated.
WWE has also had trouble moving tickets for its biggest Premium Live Event of the year. Allegiant Stadium, the site of WrestleMania, previously offered a limited-time discount as part of a strategy to boost ticket sales.
The company later partnered with NASCAR for a major offer on WrestleMania 42 tickets. The deal gives fans access to two live events for the price of one. A $1,000 Platinum Pass is also available, which includes NASCAR club-level passes and a WrestleMania floor pass.
WWE WrestleMania 42 goes down live at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 18 and 19, 2026. WWE has confirmed the following matches as of this writing.
- CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns – WWE World Heavyweight Championship
- Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton – Undisputed WWE Championship
- Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan – WWE Women’s World Championship
- Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – WWE Women’s Championship
WrestleZone will provide live coverage of the show as it airs.
