Kindergartner Earns Trip To WWE RAW After Viral Feud With Logan Paul

Once considered an outsider himself, Logan Paul took issue with another one trying to make it in WWE last fall. In this case, it was “Burt Texas,” a 6-year-old viral sensation known for his cowboy wrestling persona and his “Texas toast” finisher.

In November, “Burt Texas” caught WWE’s attention when his mother, Jerica Brae Hibner, posted a TikTok video of Texas showing off his costume — cow-print pants, cowboy hat, and all — and character. From there, Texas and family received a direct message from WWE inviting them to WWE Raw in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Dec. 15.

“It literally just blew up overnight,” Hibner told WV News. “The notifications just kept rolling in. It was wild, and he was pumped about it. Then it all blew up even more from there. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I had no idea all that was going to happen.”

In the weeks leading up to Raw, Texas, a kindergartener, then found himself in a feud with Logan Paul, a social media star sensation turned WWE star. According to Paul, “outsiders” like Texas wouldn’t be welcomed in WWE. He also poked fun at Texas’ finisher, claiming that the only thing “toasty” about Texas was the bread crumbs from the last sandwich he ate in catering. Should Texas want to become an actual WWE Superstar, though, Paul suggested that Texas train at the WWE Performance Center and take real bumps.

Seemingly unbothered by Paul’s comments, Texas responded in another TikTok video, promising that Paul would “crumble faster than day old bread” if they crossed paths. Texas further warned Paul to saddle up because he’d be burnt Texas toast at Raw.

Logan Paul eventually called a truce with Burt Texas

As seen in Paul’s vlog, he and Texas eventually called a truce backstage at Raw, with the latter gifting the former some merch. Touched by Texas’ gesture, “The Maverick” then encouraged him to follow his dreams.

“I’m sorry about everything I said to you,” Paul said, offering a handshake in return. “I didn’t mean it. It was all in good fun. You can be a wrestler one day. You’re 25 years ahead of me. I’m 30, bro. I’m on the tail end of my life, let alone career. But you have your whole life ahead of you.”

With some pointers from Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Texas later made his first official WWE entrance before the live crowd in Hershey.

“As soon as we walked in, we were backstage with all of the WWE superstars, and they all started shouting his name when they saw him,” Texas’ mother told WV News. “They knew who he was. We walked past Cody Rhodes, and he’s like, ‘Oh, is that Burt Texas? I heard he was going to be here.’”
