Bayley has recently praised a rising female indie wrestler amid rumors of her signing with WWE. Nikki Blackheart has built a strong reputation in many different promotions like AAA Worldwide, Metroplex Wrestling, and 4th Rope Wrestling within a short span of time, and the multi-time WWE champion couldn’t help but praise the indie star after her recent tryout performance.
Blackheart attended Bayley’s Lodestone seminar in late 2025. It was a training camp focused on helping female wrestlers improve their skills and understand WWE better. The seminar also included big names like John Cena, Charlotte Flair, Natalya, and Lyra Valkyria.
Things moved forward for Blackheart in February 2026 when she attended a WWE tryout camp. Now, reports suggest she has signed with WWE and will soon join the WWE Performance Center.
Bayley, who was also present at the tryout, said she wanted to see how WWE’s system has changed over the years, having gone through it herself. During that time, she got a closer look at Blackheart’s potential.
Bayley Praises Nikki Blackheart Amid WWE Tryout Buzz
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Bayley praised Nikki Blackheart. She believes Blackheart has what it takes to succeed in WWE.
“I know she had the tryout because I was there. I don’t know how fast they’re talking to people or signing people. Part of the reason why I wanted to be at that tryout was to see how they run these things nowadays. It’s been like 10 years since I’ve been a part of one. So I was just there kind of observing. But yeah, I knew she had one. So, I think she would obviously fit in great,” Bayley said.
Bayley also admitted that she might be a bit biased because of their earlier interaction. “I’m biased, though, because I had her at my Lodestone seminar. So, if she shows up, I’ll be happy to show her around,” she added.
Even though she is still new to wrestling, Blackheart has already achieved a lot. She made her debut at CCW Breakout 37 in June 2024 and soon stood out, especially in Coastal Championship Wrestling, where she won the CCW Women’s Championship.
