Jade Cargill is aiming for a major milestone as she prepares to defend her title against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.
Cargill won the WWE Women’s Championship back in November at Saturday Night’s Main Event. She defeated Tiffany Stratton to capture the title. Since then, Cargill has been dominant in her singles run.
She has defended her championship successfully and built strong momentum heading into WrestleMania. She’s defended the title against names like Jordynne Grace. Picked up multiple singles non title victories against various opponents.
However, she has only wrestled six televised matches. Her latest match took place last week on WWE SmackDown where she defeated Michin. And now, she wants winning streak to be continued at WWE WrestleMania 42 against Rhea Ripley.

Speaking on Complex Graps with Jamie Iovine and Tim Hann Rivera, Cargill addressed her upcoming opponent and said many people consider her one of the best in the game. She said, “I’m going against the top girl. I’m going against the number one girl in our company.”
“You know, I don’t think anyone will argue that. Do I know that I’m coming home with my title? Yes, I do. I’m going to go balls to the wall. I’m going in with no regrets. I’ve learned from my mistakes in the past.”
She added, “Rhea has never seen someone like me. I think she’s phenomenal in her own right, but I’m phenomenal in mine as well.” Cargill made it clear she is confident heading into WrestleMania, saying, “I’m not going to end my undefeated streak at WrestleMania… I think you guys are just going to see us put on a show. I think she’s great, I think she’s great, I think she’s great, I think she’s great, but I’m better.”
She continued, “Like, I’m a powerhouse. No one’s really seen me go toe to toe with such a stellar opponent. And yes, this will be the grandest match I’ve had so far in my career. I’m just starting, and I have so much to go. It’s crazy.”
