WWE NXT Results:
The show kicks off with a highlight package from last week.
Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) w/NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne
Reid beats down Sinclair in the corner. Henley tags in and continues the beatdown. Sinclair tries to fire up but eats a nasty right from Henley. Reid and Henley double-team Sinclair. Sinclair fires up, but Reid cuts her off after a blind tag and a running blockbuster. Sinclair manages to tag in Grey. Grey clears the ring.
After a cheap shot, Sinclair breaks up the pin on Grey. Henley and Sinclair clothesline each other outside the ring. Back in the ring, Grey counters a backbreaker into a stunner. Grey traps Reid in an armbar. Henely tries to break up the pin, but Sinclair traps her in the Final Wrench. Reid taps out.
Winners- Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey
After the match, Grey grabs a mic and says she wants a title shot against Jayne. Lola Vice walks out on the stage and says she wants a title shot. NXT GM Mr. Stone joins the party and announces Vice will take on Grey next week. The winner gets Jacy Jayne at Stand and Deliver.
Grade: B-
This match was quite enjoyable. Seeing this four tag makes this writer pine for the days NXT had a Women’s Tag Team belts. The main roster tag champions are almost never on NXT. Just give them their titles back, you cowards. Anyway, Vice taking ong Grey for a chance at a title shot wasn’t on my bingo card, but it will be a fun match that Grey will inevitably win. Still not sure if that’s a good thing or not. Time will tell.
Face-to-Face
Sol Ruca is in the ring as the show comes back up. Ruca says Zaria has been running her mouth on social media, and she should have seen this coming. She thought they were stronger than this. Zaria just decided Ruca wasn’t worth standing next to anymore. Ruca trusted her. Zaria was her best friend. Anytime anyone says Sol Ruca, she made sure she said Zaria; they were a team. When Zaria couldn’t make her own moment, she turned on Ruca instead.

Ruca now knows who Zaria is. If Zaria can stand on her own, she can show Ruca at Stand and Deliver. Zaria interrupts and says that every time she stepped in the ring, she was just Sol Ruca’s partner. Where it all started is where it’s going to end. Now Ruca knows how Zaria feels. As long as Ruca stands, Zaria will never be able to. This isn’t about Ruca; this is about Zaria finally choosing herself. Zaria says Ruca has it all wrong. Ruca isn’t the villain in Zaria’s story; she’s the mistake. Zaria walks away.
Grade: C
With all the buildup between these two, this segment fell a bit flat. And this segment was entirely too long. This would hit a lot different if there was a title at stake here, especially if the whole story is about Ruca shining over Zaria. Have Zaria take what’s most important to Ruca.
Thea Hail vs. Kelani Jordan
Jordan lands a flurry. Hail keep trying to lock in the Kimura. Jordan keeps fighting it off. Jordan goes low and hits the Splitlegged Moonsault for the win.
Winner- Kelani Jordan
After the match, Jordan attacks Hail. Jaida Parker makes the save.
Grade: C+
This didn’t get anywhere near the time it should have. Who did Hail piss off? For someone as popular as she is in that building to constantly lose is just odd.
Gauntlet eliminator match for a shot at the NXT North American title at Stand and Deliver
Shiloh Hill and Jackson Drake are the first two competitors. Hill and Drake trade shots. Neither man can get the advantage. Dion Lennox is out next. Lennox clears the ring. During the break, Charlie Dempsey has joined the fray. Everyone brawls. The current North American Champion, Myles Borne, is shown watching the match from the back. Lennox sends Hill through the barricade.
When it’s time for the 5th competitor to join the match, Candice LeRae walks out and says she’s tried everything except this. The 5th man is Johnny Gargano. Gargano’s music hits, but he doesn’t walk out. LeRae goes to the back and drags Gargano down the ramp. Gargano reluctantly gets on the apron. Lennox boots Gargano in the head. Gargano planks on the apron like this is SmackDown. Outside the ring, OTM attacks Lennox. Hill pins Lennox.
Dion Lennox has been eliminated
Hill hits his finish on Drake. Hill pins Drake.
Jackson Drake has been eliminated
Hill hits his finish on Dempsey. Hill pins Dempsey.
Charlie Dempsey has been eliminated
Hill gets pulled out of the ring and is beaten down by Birthright. LeRae pushes Gargano on top of Hill and gets the win.
Shiloh Hill has been eliminated
Winner- Johnny Gargano
Grade: C
The match was humming at first, but the finish and the inclusion of Gargano was ultimately groan-inducing.
Los Americanos are the replacement team for Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur
First-round tournament match for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship | Los Americanos vs. The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance)
Americanos get the win after shot with the loaded mask.
Winners- Los Americanos
Grade: C+
Fun TV tag match. Not much to add here.
Tony D’Angelo vs. Ricky Saints w/Ethan Page
D’Angelo gets the win after a DQ 0once Page gets invovled.
Winner- D’Angelo
After the match, Joe Hendry makes the save. Mr. Stone books a fatal four-way for the NXT Championship: Joe Hendry will defend against Ethan Page, Tony D’Angelo, and Ricky Saints.
Grade: B-
Fun match with an obvious conclusion.
