TNA World Champion Mike Santana Set for WWE Match Next Week

WWE NXT is set to welcome a reigning world champion in the name of Mike Santana next week. This appearance comes at a time when tensions between factions continue to spill over ahead of Stand & Deliver. Moreover, this appearance comes with outside backing.

During the March 24 episode of NXT, OTM made it clear they weren’t done settling scores with DarkState, but they also hinted that reinforcements were on the way.

Mike Santana joins OTM for six-man tag match on WWE NXT

In a backstage interview, OTM addressed their recent actions. The faction stated that their attack on Dion Lennox was about repaying a debt.

They claimed DarkState “took the first shot,” and now it was time to collect — wrestling’s version of “receipts are due.”

With that, the group revealed they had secured a six-man tag team match for next week’s episode. This will serve as the final stop before Stand & Deliver. However, the bigger surprise came moments later.

Rather than bringing in someone from within NXT, OTM introduced a partner from outside the brand. A video message aired showing TNA World Champion Mike Santana. Santana confirmed he had answered the call and would join them in the fight.

Santana didn’t waste words, making it clear he plans to handle DarkState on his “home turf” of New York City. The match is set to take place at Madison Square Garden, adding another layer of stakes to an already heated rivalry.

This appearance continues the ongoing crossover between WWE and TNA, with Santana balancing responsibilities across both promotions. Despite stepping into NXT, he remains scheduled to defend the TNA World Championship against Steve Maclin on March 27.

For OTM, this alliance signals a shift from in-house conflict to something bigger. For DarkState, it means their next fight just gained a world champion-sized problem.
