MJF Reveals Fake Pilot Attempted To Abduct Him After AEW Show

AEW‘s MJF recounts an incident when he almost got abducted by a fake pilot.

During his recent appearance on The Adam Friedland Show, AEW World Champion MJF recalled being at a show, where a guy claiming to be a pilot walked up to him and told him that Tony Khan had booked him a jet to take him home after the show. His father was recovering after having a heart attack, and Khan knew it. So MJF went over to thank his boss for the gesture, but Khan had no clue what he was talking about.

“A pilot walks up to me, and he goes, ‘Mr. Friedman, I’m going to be flying you out back home after the show’s proceedings.’ Which, to be fair, I’ve flown on the jet a couple times with my boss up to that point anyway.

“Not to the island. Well, to the island, as in Long Island, the only island that matters, and there’s no pedophilia going on,” MJF joked. “So I find my boss after this pilot says this to me, and I knock on his door, he opens the door, he goes, ‘Max,’ I go, ‘That’s me. I want you to know how much this means to me, the fact that you’re trying to fly me back home to my dad as soon as possible after he had the heart attack.’

“Because he did know, my boss Tony did know,” MJF continued. “And he goes, ‘What the fu*k are you talking about?’ And I go, ‘The pilot just told,’ he goes, ‘I didn’t fu*king book you a jet to back home tonight.’

MJF and QT Marshall confronted the fake pilot

MJF and one of AEW’s EVPs, QT Marshall, then confronted the fake pilot. The guy told them that Tony Khan hired him, but he didn’t show his pilot’s license when they asked. Security then took him downtown, where he confessed that he was trying to abduct MJF.

“So now, I go back over with one of my bosses, like one of the EVPs in the company, QT Marshall. And QT goes, ‘So who did you say hired you again?’ He goes, ‘Tony Khan.’ Tony Khan’s my boss. We go, ‘Okay. Are you sure about that?’

“And then security comes, and they grab this guy, and QT goes, before the guy leaves, he goes, ‘Wait a minute, wait a minute. We’ll let you stay if you show us your pilot’s license. And the guy, I shit you not, does this (checks his pockets) ‘I left it at home.’ Get the fu*k out of here. So then they fuc*ing throw, I guess they throw the guy in whatever you call it, the brig or whatever, they take him fuc*ing downtown. We still don’t know how he got back there. We still don’t know how he got backstage,” MJF said.

“So, to be fair, our security team has changed since then, and it probably was the building security, not even AEW security’s fault. But they asked this guy, ‘What were you planning on doing? He was honest. He said he was going to fu*king abduct me,” MJF finished.

Some fans have questioned the validity of the story, but Marko Stunt and QT Marshall have both confirmed that it’s legitimate.
