Stephanie Vaquer Reveals AJ Styles’ Reaction To Her New Finisher

WWE‘s Stephanie Vaquer reveals how AJ Styles reacted to her new finisher.

At WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025, Stephanie Vaquer defeated IYO Sky to win the vacant Women’s World Championship. She debuted her new finisher, the high-flying Spiral Tap, that night to pin Sky to win the title. During her recent conversation with Chris Van Vliet on his INSIGHT podcast, Vaquer addressed how the move is similar to AJ Styles’ Spiral Tap. The main difference is that Styles faces the ring while standing on the top turnbuckle and lands on his back during the impact.

Stephanie Vaquer noted that AJ Styles did point out to her that her Spiral Tap is similar to his, but gave her his blessings to continue doing the move, saying she does it better.

“One time he said to me, ‘Oh, it’s like my move.’ I’m like, Oops. And he says, ‘No, you look better.’ I say, ‘No, I can’t believe you say that.’ I love him.”

AJ Styles recently revealed that he stopped doing the Spiral Tap due to health issues.

Stephanie Vaquer also spoke about the double Devil’s Kiss moment with Rhea Ripley

Speaking further, Stephanie Vaquer also looked back on the double Devil’s Kiss she and Rhea Ripley performed on Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley at NXT Homecoming in September 2025.

When Vliet pointed out how they timed the move perfectly, Stephanie Vaquer said, “That was so funny. She’s so nice. She asked me first, ‘I have an idea.’ I’m like, yeah? She said, ‘It’s okay for you?’ She asked me. I say, of course, I mean, it’s an honor for you to do that for me. And she said, ‘Can you show me how?’ And I say, Yeah, sure. She does it perfectly.”
