Liv Morgan has become the new Women’s World Champion at WWE WrestleMania 42 thanks to Judgment Day’s interference.
Liv Morgan booked herself a Women’s World Championship match against Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42 after winning the 2026 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match. The build-up to the contest was tense right from the get-go as both performers took it upon themselves to make things personal.
Stephanie Vaquer walked in with a clear numbers disadvantage as Liv Morgan had her Judgment Day partners in her corner. However, La Primera persevered and even got the upper hand after leaving Morgan with visible scars after sending her crashing into Roxanne Perez, sending both into concussion protocol.
But Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez recovered in time, and the numbers disadvantage proved too much for Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42. Perez and Raquel Rodriguez tried to interfere and cost Vaquer the title, but La Primera took them out.
However, Liv Morgan used the distraction to send Stephanie Vaquer crashing into the steel steps before performing the ObLivion to get the pin. With the victory, Morgan has become a three-time Women’s World Champion.
She celebrated with her Dominik Mysterio and the others after the match, but it appears Morgan could be in for a surprise as Raquel Rodriguez was seen eyeing the title.
