WWE WrestleMania 42 Band Criticized For Lip-Syncing During Performance

Fans are criticizing The Wonder Years for botching the lip-syncing while performing Becky Lynch’s entrance at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Becky Lynch had a special entrance at WWE WrestleMania 42 for her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against AJ Lee. Pennsylvania-based rock band The Wonder Years performed Lynch’s theme song “New Lows.” However, the lead singer, Dan ‘Soupy’ Campbell, botched the lip-sync right at the beginning by mistiming it.

While the rest of the entrance proceeded smoothly, WWE fans were quick to point out the botch and promptly called out the band. They also blasted The Wonder Years for lip-syncing the song instead of performing it live.

“NOT THE WONDER YEARS LIP SYNCING. yall are better than that,” one fan posted.

“Son this is the worst lip sync I’ve seen in my life,” another wrote.

“Stop it! Homie messed up royaly on that lip sync,” another fan replied.

“Bro telepathically sung “THE MAN” before starting to “sing” the rest of the song,” another replied.

Despite the botched entrance, Becky Lynch had a successful outing and finally defeated AJ Lee after previously tapping out to her on three occasions. With the win, Lynch has become a three-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
