During WrestleMania 42, a guest commentator appeared during a match, and now, we know who he is.
At the start of Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley‘s match for the WWE Women’s Championship, WWE welcomed Adam Weitsman to the broadcast. Surprisingly, the man didn’t say anything, nor speak at all during the match, leading many to wonder who he was or what he was doing there.
For those unaware, Weitsman is the owner and CEo of Upstate Shredding – Weitsman Recyling, a scrap metal processing company out of Owego, New York. The businessman has been valued as a billionaire since 2022, and he frequents tons of different events.
It’s unclear exactly what his role within WWE’s broadcasting team was, though, or whether or not he maybe just wanted to sit in on a match for some reason. Fans online were quick to theorize about Weitsman’s inclusion, and ask why he was involved in the event at all.
For now, it seems like Weitsman simply wanted to have a front row seat for the match, which saw Ripley re-gain her title after beating Cargill in an epic match.
