The WWE Universe wasn’t too thrilled to hear about the promotion’s parent company at WrestleMania 42.
Fans started various chants during the WrestleMania 42 post-show. Things got a bit more animated when new World Champion, Roman Reigns, arrived on the set. The crowd started by cheering for Reigns, then some pro-Punk chants started. Reigns was also subject to an ‘Oba’s going to kill you’ chant, and another explicit one brought on by something Reigns said.
Reigns was putting himself over and had mentioned WWE’s merger with TKO/Endeavor. At that point, a loud ‘F**k TKO’ chant broke out behind the stage.
Reigns couldn’t hear what it was and could be seen asking what the crowd was saying. The rest of the commentary team ignored the outburst and kept the show moving.
Fans have been upset with creative issues and ticket prices increases since TKO took over as the parent company of WWE. All they likely needed was for Reigns to praise the company to set them off. Reigns later took note of the chants for and against him, noting that they had a very bipolar crowd outside of Allegiant Stadium.
