WWE drew backlash from fans over how Paige and The Bella Twins were used on RAW.
Fans expected a bigger moment after their title win, but the show did not deliver that. Many fans felt confused and disappointed with how WWE handled the segment. At WrestleMania 42, Paige made her big return to WWE.
She replaced Nikki Bella after her ankle injury and teamed up with Brie Bella for the match. They went on to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. It was a huge comeback moment for Paige.
However, WWE RAW told a different story. Fans expected a celebration or even a short promo segment. Instead, WWE showed them sitting quietly in the crowd. Paige, Brie, and Nikki were just watching the show. It felt random, and honestly a bit underwhelming.

Fans quickly shared their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter. Many said the new Women’s Tag Team Champions deserved a proper spotlight moment. After such a big WrestleMania win, this felt very small. It didn’t match the importance of their title victory.
Other WrestleMania winners appeared on WWE RAW with proper segments. Roman Reigns showed up during the show. Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley were featured too. But the tag team champions didn’t get anything meaningful.
Fans kept asking the same question again and again: Why were Paige and The Bella Twins just sitting there in the crowd? Why not give them even a backstage segment? It felt like WWE missed a simple opportunity.
Paige’s return itself was already a very big deal. She came back to WWE after nearly eight years away. Winning titles in her first match back made it special. Still, WWE RAW did not fully use that momentum properly.
