Chelsea Green is trying something new outside of wrestling as she prepares to act in a horror film. The former Women’s United States Champion has landed a role in an upcoming project, adding another step to her growing acting career.
Green hasn’t been wrestling since February 2026 because of an ankle injury. Her last match came in early February, when Tiffany Stratton defeated her and Lash Legend in a triple-threat match to qualify for Elimination Chamber. Since then, she hasn’t wrestled, but she has still been active in backstage segments and ringside roles.
Chelsea Green set to begin filming horror movie in upcoming weeks
During WrestleMania 42 week, Green spoke with Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Candace Cordelia and revealed that she recently got a role in a horror movie and will start filming soon.
“I’m gonna tell what I’m most excited for. I would do anything with anybody. I feel the same way about acting as I do about wrestling. Like, I just wanna get out there and do it and build a resume. I just got a role in a horror film…spoiler…spoiler…I film in a couple of weeks. It’s gory as hell and I can’t wait,” Green said.
However, this isn’t her first time acting. She previously appeared in the 2020 sci-fi movie Parallel Minds. Last month, she also shared on X that she was going to have a cameo role in Hate The Player: The Ben Johnson Story.
As of now, details about Green’s new horror movie remain unknown, including its title and cast. Nevertheless, the WWE star confirmed filming will begin in the next few weeks. She even suggested that the movie would be intense and graphic.
The timing works well for her, as she continues to recover from her injury. It allows her to stay busy while she is away from the ring. It also shows how many WWE stars are now exploring careers in entertainment outside of wrestling these days.
