CM Punk is no stranger to giving the fans what they want, and a couple of years ago, the WWE legend took that to the extreme with a hilarious photo with a baby.
Recently, Ringer Wrestling shared a video of Punk talking with David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide at Fanatics Fest in New York City, from August 2024. The old video features a lengthy interview with the star, but in the middle of it, Punk was asked if he would pose with a fan’s baby. The interviewers egged him on, and even though Punk said he didn’t want to kiss a stranger’s baby, they came up with a solution.
Punk was eventually handed the baby, and with The Lion King’s theme playing over the clip, Punk picks up the baby and holds it up similar to that of Rafiki, the mandrill who holds up baby Simba in front of the gathered animals at Pride Rock. The fans in attendance were loving it, and despite the straight face, Punk seemed to find it funny as well.
