CM Punk and Liv Morgan Eyed for Netflix Movies Amid WWE Partnership

The partnership between WWE and Netflix has already changed how wrestling content reaches fans. But now, it looks like it could also open doors outside the ring as new reports suggest that CM Punk and Liv Morgan might get chances to work in Netflix movies soon.

This is different from the usual way. Normally, wrestlers slowly move into acting with small roles. But here, the interest is coming directly from the top.

Netflix reportedly interested in developing movies with CM Punk and Liv Morgan

During the recent The Smoke Sessions Podcast, talent agent Nick LoPiccolo said that efforts were made to connect WWE talent directly with Netflix’s decision-makers.

He explained that even after WWE signed its big deal with Netflix, there was still a gap. The deal helped with streaming, but it didn’t automatically lead to acting roles for wrestlers. So, he stepped in to help connect them with people at Netflix, including Bella Bajaria, who handles global content.

Instead of just following WWE’s usual media routine, LoPiccolo guided Mogan and Punk on who to talk to and how to make the most of short meetings by sharing details about important executives.

“I’m texting Punk. I’m texting Liv. Like, ‘Here’s pictures of the executives. So when you’re meeting them at the Netflix office, don’t go do what WWE wants you to do. Go meet Bella. Go say hi to this person. This is their picture, this is their credits. This is what they do,” LoPiccolo said.

This seems to have worked, especially for Morgan. She reportedly had a long conversation with media executive, Bela Bajaria.

“Liv gets it. So she goes up to Bela. She’s like, ‘Bela loves me. She took a picture of my WWE title. I spent 45 minutes with her.’ I’m like, ‘You f*cking get it?’” LoPiccolo said.

LoPiccolo then claimed that Bajaria told her teams to start thinking about projects built around Punk and Morgan.

“So, you know, we haven’t done a movie yet with Netflix and Bella or I mean with Liv. But Bela has a mandate that she’s told all of her talent, film and television people, ‘I want movies with CM Punk and Liv Morgan,'” LoPiccolo added.

If true, it means Netflix is not just limiting itself to pro wrestling content but also wants to create content for WWE stars. WWE has been growing its presence on Netflix since 2025. This has made WWE stars more visible to a global audience.

Both Punk and Morgan already have some acting experience. Punk has worked in shows like Heels and movies like Girl on the Third Floor. Morgan made her film debut in The Kill Room. Still, working on a Netflix project would be a huge step forward for both of them.
