CM Punk has been advertised for multiple WWE events amid his ongoing absence.
Former World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk has been absent from WWE television since his segment with Cody Rhodes on RAW after WrestleMania 42 in April. Recent reports suggested that the promotion plans to move him to SmackDown when he returns. However, it’s said that Punk has been pushing hard to make his comeback on the July 6 episode of RAW in Chicago.
Regardless of where he ends up, WWE has advertised CM Punk for multiple events despite his ongoing hiatus. But interestingly enough, the company isn’t advertising any talent on its website for next week’s RAW in Chicago or the July 13 show in Dallas, Texas. It says “Featured Superstar information for this event is not yet available” for both shows.
CM Punk is advertised for several episodes of WWE RAW
Despite WWE not advertising him, or anyone, for the 7/6 RAW, the AllState Arena, the venue for the event, is advertising him and Stephanie Vaquer.
WWE is also advertising CM Punk for the following episodes of RAW:
- July 20, Detroit, Michigan
- July 27, Los Angeles, California
- August 3, Des Moines, Iowa
It’s worth mentioning that WWE always says the card is subject to change. CM Punk was advertised for several episodes of RAW in June and for the European Summer Tour. However, he ultimately did not appear. So his return is still up in the air.
Despite being away from WWE television, CM Punk remained in the headlines for his impressive physical transformation. He recently addressed it at an MMA event, joking that he put on 20 pounds, but also hinting he could return in an upcoming episode of SmackDown. He also dropped a legendary excuse to explain his absence.
