WWE Legend Torrie Wilson Shows Support For Spencer Pratt’s Bid For Los Angeles Mayor

A WWE legend has extended her support to Spencer Pratt in his Los Angeles mayoral campaign.

Spencer Pratt, the former star of The Hills, is running as an independent candidate in the LA mayoral race. It appears he has significant support from pro wrestling circles, as Women of Wrestling co-owner Jeanie Buss donated $1800, the maximum allowed per person, to Pratt’s campaign. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson has also extended her support.

Responding to an X/Twitter post asking people to raise their hands if they think Spencer Pratt should be the next LA Mayor, the WWE legend showed her support with a simple waving hand emoji.

Torrie Wilson retired from wrestling in May 2008. However, she has made sporadic appearances for WWE over the years, competing in battle royals, and her last in-ring appearance took place in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match. The promotion inducted her into the Hall of Fame in 2023.

Torrie Wilson turned down WWE segment because it made her feel uncomfortable

During her recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Torrie Wilson admitted that certain moments in her career pushed her beyond her comfort zone. She recalled the bikini contest she had against Sable at WWE Judgment Day 2003, and noted that she refused when Vince McMahon wanted her to use body paint as Sable had done before.

“Yeah, there were a couple of times one in particular, the Judgment Day pay-per-view bikini contest against Sable. Originally, Vince wanted me to do the hand paint on my boobs, like Sable had done in the past and I just, I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. So, I was like, how about rhinestones that barely cover my nipples? Don’t ask me why. That felt a little safer than the paint.

“But looking back, I’ve only seen myself in a thong bikini a few times out in front of the crowd. And those times really do kind of make me cringe. It just seems like a lot. And then sometimes, you know, you can see kids in the crowd and it just feels like this is wrong,” the WWE legend said.
