Danhausen made quite the combination of science and magic to find his mystery partner at WWE Backlash.
Danhausen made his WWE PLE in-ring debut at Backlash tonight, teaming with a mystery partner to face The Miz and Kit Wilson. He arrived riding the Danhausen Mobile before approaching a wooden vault labeled “Cloning Machine.” The door suddenly fell open as smoke poured out, revealing a mini version of Danhausen, aka his Minihausen
Wade Barrett joked that WWE could get into serious trouble for putting a child in the match, taking a shot at the competitor’s size.
Once the referee called for the opening bell, Wilson immediately blasted Minihausen with a kick to the face. Despite the early attack, Minihausen held his own against his opponents and even connected with several aerial maneuvers, including a dive onto Miz and Wilson at ringside.
Minihausen later chased Wilson onto the stage, but Wilson regained control and locked him back inside the cloning machine. The relief did not last long, however, as noises began coming from the machine before the door burst open again to reveal multiple Minihausens.
The Minihausen Army quickly swarmed Wilson while the original Minihausen returned to the ring. As Minihausen prepared to hit Wilson with the “You Are Cursed” catchphrase, Wilson reflected the curse with a mirror, allowing Miz to connect with a Skull Crushing Finale. Danhausen barely broke up the pinfall at the last possible second.
During the closing moments, Miz attempted to attack Danhausen and the Minihausen Army with a fire extinguisher. Miz shouted “You are cursed” at the group, but the extinguisher accidentally exploded in his own face. The mistake allowed Danhausen to take control before eventually securing the win with a pump kick.
After the match, Danhausen and the Minihausens celebrated on the stage. The arena lights then went out, and when they returned, Hausen and his minions hilariously disappeared.
Danhausen has been feuding with The Miz and Wilson for several weeks. The rivalry escalated when he interrupted Miz and Maryse’s wedding vow renewal ceremony on SmackDown. Danhausen later ruined Miz and Wilson’s WrestleMania celebration by appearing alongside a group of Minihausens in a segment that also featured John Cena.
Ahead of WWE Backlash, Miz insisted he did not care who Danhausen picked as his partner. Those words ultimately came back to haunt him.
