Charlotte Flair shares an emotional message about a WWE Superfan’s battle with a rare cancer.
Ahead of the Backlash PLE, WWE released a special digital exclusive video titled More than a fan: The story of Charlotte Flair and Scarlett, which highlights the real-life bond between the multi-time champion and a young girl named Scarlett Guillen. She is battling DMG (Diffuse Midline Glioma), a rare and terminal form of brain cancer. The video details how she first met Flair and how their relationship evolved into a genuine long-term friendship.
After WWE released the video, Charlotte Flair shared an emotional message to Scarlett and the Guillen family on X/Twitter. She also named the WWE team that worked on the piece and expressed her gratitude.
“Scarlett, Elena, Kim, and Isaiah… Thank you for sharing your love and your family with me. It has truly been an honor getting to know both of your little girls. To me, Scarlett’s strength and fearlessness have been a guiding light, a real-life superhero, and an example to us all. And Elena… I was once a big sister, and now I can be yours,” Charlotte Flair wrote.
“Kim and Isaiah, you make life special for your family every single day, and I only hope to do the same. To the WWE team and the incredibly talented crew who worked on this piece, thank you for helping bring these memories to life and for allowing me the chance to introduce my little besties to the world. Your passion and heart to capture these moments mean more than you know,” Charlotte Flair wrote.
“Ben Houser, Tom Rinaldi, Brian Decker, Steve Conoscenti, Alex Eliasof, Matt Laffey, MJ, Pete McKinny, Gabrielle Gonnella. My forever diamond butterflies.”
