WWE’s Bianca Belair Shares Finger Injury Update

Bianca Belair has already shared that she is expecting a baby boy. Still, the former WWE Women’s Champion recently gave fans another concerning update about the finger injury that changed a big part of her life.

Belair has been away from in-ring action in WWE since suffering a serious hand injury at WrestleMania 41. At first, many thought she would return after a short and swift recovery. However, the injury ended up being much worse than expected.

Bianca Belair says her finger became bigger than her thumb after injury

Belair recently posted a new update on her Instagram Stories showing her injured finger. The swelling on her left ring finger was still very noticeable even months after the injury happened. However, the update also included some positive news, as Belair revealed she could finally wear her wedding ring again.

“Finally got my ring back and can finally wear it again. My ring size went from a 7.5 to a…..10! My ring finger is bigger than my thumb now,” Belair wrote.

The injury happened during Belair’s Triple Threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41 for the Women’s World Championship. During a risky top-rope triple German suplex spot, Belair landed awkwardly after ending up on the wrong side of Ripley. Her left hand got trapped underneath Ripley during the fall, damaging her finger.

Later, Belair explained that the damage was more serious than doctors first believed. She said she fractured her ring finger in several places and also suffered permanent joint damage.

Doctors originally thought the injury would heal in around eight to twelve weeks. But recovery became more difficult when the finger healed straight, leaving Belair unable to bend it properly.

After spending nearly ten months trying rehab and other treatments, Belair eventually underwent reconstructive hand surgery in February 2026. Since then, she has continued sharing parts of her recovery process online.

Belair has said the rehab has been painful and frustrating because scar tissue keeps making the joint stiff again, forcing her to constantly repeat exercises throughout the day. Even now, the swelling has not fully gone away.
