Michin Is Open To A Dollhouse Reunion With One Major Change

Michin recently opened up about the possibility of reuniting with The Dollhouse following Taryn Terrell’s return to wrestling.

In an interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard, WWE SmackDown star Michin admitted she was genuinely surprised to see Terrell back, joking she initially thought the clips circulating online were AI-generated.

“I am so excited and proud of Taryn for coming back. I did not think she would. When I first saw it, I didn’t see the debut, but I saw the clips, and I’m not gonna lie, I thought it was AI. I was like, there’s no way. It’s been so long, and I know she’s happy living her life, and I just thought it was fake,” Michin said.

She also praised Marti Belle for continuing to stay active in wrestling and admitted that the thought of reuniting The Dollhouse had crossed her mind, especially with the growing partnership between WWE and TNA.

Michin reflected positively on the group’s chemistry and credited Terrell for helping guide the faction while she and Belle were still adjusting to performing on television.

“And it did come into my mind, like yeah, I can see us getting back together. I won’t be wearing a skirt again, but it was a good time, especially for all of us. And with Taryn leading the charge, me and Marti, we were still trying to get familiar with the TV style and doing stuff on TV.”

Michin didn’t like certain aspects of her TNA gimmick

At the same time, Michin acknowledged that certain aspects of the gimmick were personally uncomfortable for her. She explained that she never saw herself as particularly girly and disliked wearing skirts while wrestling, especially because fans often focused more on revealing moments and photos than the matches themselves

“And the group was great. We loved each other. I think for me personally, it was just I couldn’t be 100% myself just because I’m not a girly girl. So, wearing skirts—and I wrestle like a wrestler—so wearing skirts doing the moves that I do, I just didn’t like that after a match, instead of people talking about the match, they were talking about, ‘Oh my God, did you see this picture,’ and things like that.”

Michin says some parts of the gimmick felt violating

“And it was just so icky. I loved the group, I loved the concept, and I loved what we did, but the memories that I had from it was traumatizing because of being sexualized in that way. It felt violating.

“So I would love for us to get back together, especially because of the partnership between us and TNA. I would love us to have a clash of, ‘Oh my God, where is her loyalty going to lay?’ But I do see us. It would be cool if we could get back together. It’s just, at least for me, I’d be like, yeah, we could be a Dollhouse, but I’ve got to be in pants or shorts or something.”

Taryn Terrell returned to TNA Wrestling in March, coming to the aid of Mickie James and ODB at Sacrifice in New Orleans. The trio later joined forces against The Elegance Brand in a Hardcore Country match at Rebellion in April.
