WWE reportedly wants to have a Milan Miracle in Turin for Clash in Italy.
WWE’s next big premium live event, Clash in Italy, will take place at the Inalpi Arena in Turin this Sunday. As the promotion is finalizing the lineup for the show, Wrestlevotes Radio (via Fightful Select) is reporting that there was a pitch within the creative team to have TNA’s Santino Marella appear on the PLE.
Santino Marella made his WWE debut on the April 16, 2007 episode of RAW in Milan, Italy. He appeared as a fan and ended up winning the Intercontinental Championship from Umaga with Bobby Lashley’s help. He’s currently performing in TNA Wrestling as the on-screen Director of Authority.
Santino Marella made several appearances on NXT last year as part of the promotion’s working relationship with TNA. He also competed in a match on the July 29, 2025, episode, where he unsuccessfully challenged Ethan Page for the North American Championship.
With only a few days left for Clash in Italy, the report notes that there’s no word on whether the pitch to have Marella on the show went anywhere.
