Triple H Pays Tribute to WWE Crew Member Who Recently Passed Away

Triple H pays an emotional tribute to a recently passed WWE crew member.

Davey Coates, who was WWE’s International Touring Manager, passed away at the age of 63 on March 14, 2026, following a battle with cancer. His son, Henry, has taken his place in the promotion, and Chief Content Officer Triple H took to X/Twitter to share a clip of them backstage at Clash in Italy. He also paid an emotional tribute to the late Coates on what would’ve been his 64th birthday.

“Some months ago, the @WWE lost one of its beloved crew members. This week marked our first international tour without Davey and the first with his son Henry in “his seat.” I saw Henry when I arrived at #WWEClash and was greeted in the same way his dad hundreds of times before. On what would have been his 64th birthday, I’m thinking of Davey, Henry, and their entire family. I’m grateful to work with all the unbelievably talented men and women who make our company what it is – and who deliver each and every night, in every city around the globe,” Triple H posted.

Former World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk had also paid tribute to Davey Coates at WWE WrestleMania 42. The jacket he wore to the ring had the names of several WWE employees who recently passed away, including Kerwin Silfies, Jim Shank and Coates.
