Thekla Spits on STARDOM Logo After Addressing Her 2025 Firing on AEW Dynamite

AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla turned up the heat in her rivalry with STARDOM on the June 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. During a fiery promo alongside her Triangle of Madness teammates, Thekla brought up her controversial exit from STARDOM and even spat on the STARDOM logo ahead of Forbidden Door.

The segment was more interesting, especially considering Thekla’s history with STARDOM and company president Taro Okada.

Triangle of Madness made their entrance through the crowd as Thekla grabbed the microphone and addressed the audience.

She reminded fans that she had warned everyone the previous week that if anyone from STARDOM showed up in AEW, she would burn the company down. Looking back on her time in Japan, Thekla mentioned the nickname that helped make her famous there.

“In Japan they used to call me the Idol Killer,” she said, explaining that she enjoyed targeting some of STARDOM’s biggest fan favorites.

Thekla mocked the cute and cheerful image often associated with many Japanese stars and claimed she took pride in taking them down one by one.

She also referenced her controversial departure from the company, saying she was fired in Japan and had to start over somewhere else. The comment was a callback to her storyline firing in 2025 after attacking Okada.

Thekla also spoke about the goals of Triangle of Madness. For Thekla, however, everything is about Forbidden Door.

The event usually brings together wrestlers from AEW, STARDOM, NJPW, and CMLL. Thekla promised that whether STARDOM wrestlers come to AEW or she goes to them, she plans to shut the door for good.

“I am not declaring war on STARDOM, I am declaring death to STARDOM,” Thekla said.

To prove her point even more, she climbed a ladder in front of the entrance screen that was showing Forbidden Door poster. Standing at the top, she looked at the STARDOM logo on the screen and spat directly at it.

The moment also caught the attention of Taro Okada. He responded on X, calling Thekla’s actions “A vulgar, cowardly, and shameful act. Unforgivable.”
