Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio’s Lack of Direction Causing Internal WWE Frustration — Report

People within WWE are reportedly frustrated over Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio’s current status.

WWE has barely used Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio on television since WrestleMania 42. According to Wrestlevotes Radio (via Fightful Select), there’s internal frustration within the promotion over their lack of direction.

WWE’s original plan for Liv Morgan after WrestleMania 42 involved a continuation of her feud with Stephanie Vaquer. However, the company had to put it on hold due to Vaquer’s injury. The report notes that WWE made a little adjustment to keep Morgan a focal point on television while La Primera recovers.

Wrestlevotes also note that there has been an effort to keep Dominik Mysterio as an on-screen character even if he doesn’t compete in matches. However, his usage is expected to increase as AAA TripleMania approaches. Liv Morgan is expected to be active on RAW regardless of Vaquer’s status.

WWE recently announced Liv Morgan as a contestant in the 2026 Queen of the Ring Tournament. Reports noted that the promotion put Morgan in the tournament to keep her busy until Stephanie Vaquer is ready to return. She will compete in the first-round match against Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green next week on RAW.

Dominik Mysterio hasn’t competed on the main roster shows since defending the AAA Mega Championship against the Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) on the May 11, 2026, episode of WWE RAW.
