Former WWE Star Marty Jannetty Shares Update After Foot Amputation

Former WWE star Marty Jannetty has spoken publicly for the first time since going through foot amputation earlier this year. In an emotional social media post, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion shared an update on his recovery and thanked everyone who supported him through one of the hardest times of his life.

News of Jannetty’s amputation first surfaced in May. However, this is the first time he has personally addressed it. Along with a new photo showing him learning to walk with a prosthetic leg, he reflected on his recovery and the people who helped him along the way.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Jannetty confirmed that he had undergone an amputation and shared how much the support from Brian Blair and the Cauliflower Alley Club meant to him.

He posted:

“As many of you all know, Ive recntly had to undergo an amputation. The very first thing I must do is thank Brian Blair and his GREAT staff at the Cauliflower Alley Club or CAC. Theyve showed me quite a lot of love and compassion for my situation. Without their help I dont think I would’ve gotten through this very tough time in my life. Insurance only covers so much so I definitely needed their help. And of course if ever a time comes when I can do something for them I’M THERE!!! Thanx again CAC.”

The CAC, led by former WWE star Brian Blair, has spent years helping wrestlers dealing with health issues, financial struggles, and personal hardships. Blair currently serves as the organization’s president and CEO.

Jannetty’s latest update follows several years of serious problems with his leg and ankle. In January 2024, he revealed that doctors had suggested amputating his leg because of ongoing medical complications. The news came after years of surgeries and injuries linked to the wear and tear of his wrestling career.

He previously underwent surgery in 2020 to fix long-term ankle and leg problems. In 2021, he told fans he was recovering well, but his condition continued to worsen.
