Tom Brady‘s recent interactions with Logan Paul may be more than just playful exchanges.
According to TMZ Sports’ Michael Babcock, Brady and WWE are currently in talks regarding a potential partnership that could eventually lead to the seven-time Super Bowl champion competing in a WWE ring.
Babcock reported on X that the discussions help explain the ongoing back-and-forth between Brady and Paul. This includes Brady slapping Paul and the two exchanging gestures during Fanatics Fest NYC. Brady also flipped Paul off at the World Cup final on Sunday.
Brady himself expressed interest in stepping into a WWE ring while speaking at Fanatics Fest NYC, revealing that he has been waiting for WWE President Nick Khan to find a storyline for him.
“I need to get an invite. I’ve been waiting for like Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I’m retired from football; I have the opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete.
“My boy Gronk’s done it. I’ve seen obviously Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right? Come on, Nick. Come on, make it happen,” he said.
Tom Brady Slapped Logan Paul At Fanatics Fest
Shortly after making those comments, Brady and Paul came face-to-face during the event. The confrontation turned physical when Brady slapped Paul across the face before New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns stepped between the two to prevent the situation from escalating further.
The rivalry between Brady and Paul dates back to February, when Paul claimed that his success in WWE proved he was just as athletic as NFL players. Brady publicly disagreed with the comparison and even remarked that WWE was “cute” compared to the NFL.
Their exchanges continued during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March, where Paul confronted Brady over his comments.
Paul is currently sidelined with a triceps injury but has remained a regular presence on WWE RAW. If the reported discussions result in a deal, his long-running rivalry with Brady could provide WWE with a ready-made storyline should the NFL legend make his in-ring debut.
