Willow Nightingale reached another major milestone at AEW Redemption. She became the first-ever AEW Women’s Triple Crown Champion.
The historic victory came after defeating Thekla for the title at Redemption in Montreal. The hard-fought match featured several dramatic moments. Skye Blue also interfered before Nightingale finally secured the victory. The win created history for the AEW star immediately. Nightingale became the first Women’s Triple Crown Champion in company history, as she has now won the Women’s World, TBS, and Tag Team titles.
Nightingale later reflected on the special achievement backstage.

Speaking during the AEW Redemption post-show press conference, Nightingale reflected on the major accomplishment. She admitted everything happened faster than she ever expected.
“I mean, fascinating thing about this too is that has all been accomplished within this year,” Willow shared. “I won the TBS Title two years ago for the first time, but, I held the Tag and TBS earlier this year.”
Nightingale called the achievement a complete whirlwind for her career.
“Now this, the World Title, it’s really a whirlwind. I love AEW because, now, it feels like we’ve got our legs, we’re more established. But it still feels so exciting and new and this is the beginning of something so much more. In my head, I’m like, this is gonna go on and on and this is still, like, we’re just getting started, and to be somebody who is kind of helping lay down that foundation, and hitting these marks and achievements at such a crazy, awesome time, along with people… on the men’s side, Kenny (Omega) and Hangman (Adam Page)? That is crazy company to be in. So I’m beside myself… Surreal… in the best way possible.” [H/T: Fightful]
