Former WWE Star Kairi Sane Drawing Interest From Multiple Companies Amid Free Agency — Report

Kairi Sane’s next destination remains one of wrestling’s biggest unanswered questions after her WWE departure officially became effective.

Although the former WWE star is now free to sign anywhere, a new report suggests she is taking her time before finalizing the next move in her career.

With several promotions reportedly keeping a close eye on her status, Sane’s next voyage could begin sooner rather than later.

Fightful Select says Kairi Sane is evaluating offers as a free agent

According to Fightful Select, Sane is officially a free agent and has drawn interest from multiple wrestling companies. However, the report states that she has not signed with any promotion and is “actively evaluating” her future.

The report also noted that Sane was not backstage at AEW Redemption or Marigold’s event over the weekend, despite being contractually eligible to appear at both shows. That absence fueled speculation, but Fightful Select reported that no agreement has been reached with any company.

In addition to interest in a full-time signing, several promotions are reportedly exploring the possibility of booking Sane for non-contracted appearances.

The update follows Sane’s recent decision to retain veteran agent Barry Bloom for business representation, a move that immediately sparked discussion about where she could land next. While Bloom represents several prominent AEW stars, the latest report makes it clear that Sane remains unsigned.

Shortly after officially entering free agency, Sane addressed fans with a brief but intriguing message on social media.

“How Far I’ll Go…

See you soon.”

Sane first joined WWE in 2017 before leaving when her contract expired in 2021. She later returned to STARDOM and made her way back to WWE in 2025 as a member of Damage CTRL. Her most recent WWE run ended after her release on April 24. Her non-compete period is now complete.

For now, the former champion appears content to weigh every option before stepping back into the spotlight. Until she reveals her next destination, wrestling promotions may be waiting at the dock — but no one has officially secured the Pirate Princess’ signature.
