Backstage B.A. wakes up handcuffed to a chair and asks what is going on. Ted DiBiase, Virgil and IRS are around him and Ted says he’ll get answers. He tells B.A. they aren’t flying anywhere and they are going to the ring right now.
In the ring, Virgil and IRS are holding B.A. against the ropes and Ted says everybody’s got a price. He says someone called him and wanted B.A. handed to him and he did it. Ted tells the guy to come out and it’s Rowdy Roddy Piper! He comes out and complains about Mr. T ruining Wrestlemania I because all he heard about was the A-Team. Piper says he silenced Mr. T, and now he’ll silence the new Mr. T and the new A-Team movie. Piper says every time he has the answers, Piper changes the questions. Piper says he is going to beat the mohawk off of B.A. in an old school fight, and then the A-Team’s music hits.
Murdoch comes out on a gold cart with Mean Gene and Dusty Rhodes. B.A. breaks the handcuffs and shoves IRS. He delivers a spinebuster to Ted and chokeslams Virgil. Dusty celebrates with B.A. and Murdoch and Murdoch says he called Dusty for help. Dusty says "ain’t it great when a plan comes together" and they leave the ring celebrating.
Josh Mathews asks Cena’s three opponents why they should face Cena tonight. Rey says he should get the vote because Cena is the top dog on RAW and he is the top guy on Smackdown. Rey says there’s no better way to make a statement than to take out the top dog. Swagger says he should get the match because it would be champion vs champion. This match would be Monday night vs Friday night, and it’s the All American American vs the face of the company. CM Punk says Mathews asks stupid questions and says Cena should wonder why he gets to face CM Punk. Punk says he could save Cena like he saved Gallows and Serena, and tells Mathews to get out of his face.
Cena makes his entrance and waits for the results from Striker. They are in, and CM Punk wins the vote and the match. Punk makes his way down to the ring with Serena and Gallows and taunts some fans.
