Detailed Live Fan Report From The SD! Taping & Off-Air Notes

Throughout the night we had promo’s from Jack Swagger boasting about his accomplishment, like being team captain of the Oklahoma Sooners wrestling team, winning the rose bowl with Oklahoma’s football team, having a 4.0, blah blah.

He then comes to the ring and attempts to deliver a promo.  At the start of it people were just chanting you suck, you suck, and booing when he’d start to talk.  After about 5 minutes of this he finally said to heck with it and kept talking.  People were screaming throughout the entire thing for NO REASON, except to piss him off, so I had no idea what he said most of the time.

I honestly felt bad for Swagger.  It was noticeably bothering him, and I felt the crowd showed absolutely no class throughout the entire ordeal.  His lisp got progressively worse throughout the whole promo.  Again, it was totally classless, and because of this Swagger earned himself a new fan.  I’m sure it will be HEAVILY edited though.

After awhile Teddy Long interrupted him and stated that Big Show was the new #1 contender for Swagger’s title.  Big Show came to the ring and they had a decent back and forth promo with the crowd screaming Knock him out the whole time.  Did I mention this was a very classy audience towards Swagger?  Anyway, Big Show commends Swagger for 1. Going to college, 2. Earning a degree, 3. I forget the third thing, 4. Becoming World Heavyweight Champion.  Then Big Show says that swagger forgot the 5th thing…Early Retirement, and he KO punched him.  That was where the show seemingly ended.

Teddy Long then came out and announced the dark match main event.  Jericho vs. Swagger vs. Big Show.  Swagger obviously won with the title on the line, but Show got the last laugh in with the Chokeslam to Swagger who had pinned Jericho after Big Show KO’ed Jericho…literally.  Jericho was in the same position on the mat for about 10 minutes after Tony Chimmel wished everyone a good night.  He then got up and had a good time with the remaining crowd before leaving.
